Min Du

Dr. Min Du was promoted to the rank of regents professor. This is the highest faculty honor and recognizes faculty members who have made ground-breaking contributions in their area of expertise, obtained competitive research awards, achieved national and international recognition for their accomplishments, provide substantial service to WSU, and contribute to graduate and undergraduate student education.

Zhihua Jiang

Dr. Zhihua Jiang recently received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award. Jiang conducted his research at the University of New England in Armidale, Australia, where he joined a world-recognized team of scientists to create new tools and resources to improve identification and location of animal genes, understand their functions, and use this knowledge to benefit animals and society.
