We’re hiring – Work & live at the Knott Dairy Center

The Dairy located on Country Club Road is looking for two WSU students interested in working and learning about the dairy industry. These jobs come with a two-bedroom apartment at the dairy. As a student employee apartment resident you will be asked to learn and work assigned shifts at the dairy.

  • You can cover your rent with 16 hours of work a month.
  • Compensation is current Washington State minimum wage rate.
  • Rent is paid by payroll deduction.
  • Rent includes: water, electric, internet, washer and dryer.
  • Shifts that you will be trained and expected to perform are:
    • Cover shifts full-time Feeder is away (weekends and other day shifts as necessary)
    • Operate a skid steer loader safely and efficiently
    • Load feed into feed truck
    • Deliver feed to cattle
    • Clean pens with different skid steer attachments
    • Help with emergencies (runaway cows, injured or sick animals, calving etc.)
  • Requirements to be shared by both student residents:
    • Alternate weekend work shifts
    • Holidays and Summer work (Summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
