Kaitlyn Wright is graduating with a degree in Animal Science and a minor in Agribusiness and Economics. She has been involved in several aspects of the Animal Science major such as working at the Knott Dairy Center, serving as president of Dairy Club, participating in research opportunities with the Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology department, and working in the barns at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She loves the animal science major because of the wide range of topics you learn and how they can be applied to real life situations. Not only has she enjoyed the topics you learn but she believes the animal science community is so welcoming as everyone builds off one another for support.
Kaitlyn is joining the Animal Sciences team as a recruiter and advisor and will draw upon her experiences as an Animal Sciences major to provide the best information and support to current and future students.
When she is not working with students you can find her skiing, hiking, fishing, camping, and hanging out with animals. She loves the outdoors, cows, science, and everything agriculture.
