Please join us in welcoming Alysa Bornstein to the Department of Animal Sciences as the new Assistant Manager at the Knott Dairy Center (KDC).

Alysa is a graduate of Oregon State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She brings valuable hands-on experience from her time with the OSU Dairy and a strong passion for dairy cattle—one that extends beyond her professional work, as she also owns dairy cows herself.

Alysa is enthusiastic about joining our team and looks forward to getting to know everyone in the Department of Animal Sciences. She will be transitioning her experience working with Jersey cows (pictured) to the Holstein herd at KDC. We are excited to welcome her and look forward to the contributions she will make at the dairy.
